Dance and physical activity can and does play a major role in promoting inclusion of all groups in society. However, inequalities have traditionally existed particularly in relation to gender, race and disability. Tru Street Academy is committed to promoting and developing Dance equity, which is about fairness in Dance, equality of access, recognising inequalities and taking steps to address them. By monitoring the profile of young people in clubs, National Governing Bodies and the Arts councils can identify any issues relating to under-representation of different groups and can together develop strategies to ensure all young people have an opportunity in the future development and progress in Dance and physical activity.

Tru Street Academy Membership fees from January 2011 – March 2011 are at a special rate of £25 per month, after that fees will be at a rate of £30 per month.

Remember to phone the office to make a payment. Hope to see you dancing soon!
